I want to be able record my own beats onto the cassette without using the 3 mic holes (there is no direct mic input.)

I have a solder set though haven’t hacked a Walkman before. I figure if there is a mic and a speaker there must be a way to add an input jack.

Any ideas welcome.

I’m having a hard time mapping the akai mpd218 to koala on my ipad.

A few months ago I had it set up perfectly then didn’t realize didn’t save the midi mapping.

I went to set it up again and the buttons dont stay mapped. I’ve downloaded the akai mpd218 app. Followed troubleshooting youtube videos and nothing.

Any tips?
