They really tried to force Lois Lane on us as the 'perfect' match, but it never felt real. It was all chemistry less banter and lazy writing. Lana was the plot, everything after her was just noise.

The show died the moment they replaced the real heart of Smallville. Anyone else feel like the 'journalism era' was just a filler?

Nobody had this aura, not even close.

Sometimes I look back and realize the show lost its soul the moment we stopped focusing on the real story. Seasons 1-7 weren’t just episodes, they were the golden age. Glad we have a place to celebrate the Early Years properly, where the chemistry actually mattered. Welcome to the only sub that gets it right.

Clark really traded a 10 for a 4 and we’re supposed to call it an upgrade? The gaslighting in this fandom is wild.
