Anyone else rockin’ Metaspeed Sky Tokyos? 🤷🏻‍♂️

I have to say, of the 11 pairs of ASICS that I currently rotate through, these are, by far, the best. (at least for my feet!)

They weigh virtually nothing… in fact, when I got the package, I was worried I received an empty box! 😂

They are even better than my Fuji Lite 6s, but the Fuji Lite 4s are a close second. If I could only find another pair… 🤔

I’m an underpronator with low arches, and also a heel striker, but I was truly surprised by how comfortable these are.

I ain’t a marathon runner or anything… just curious.

TLDR; does anyone know how to remove + replace the bracket that the center high mount stop lamp (yeah, the 3rd brake light…) slides onto? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Surprisingly, I was able to remove the housing and separate the two parts without breaking the side tabs to replace the bulb (again… 🤬*)* with a higher-quality LED bulb.

What I didn’t notice when sliding the housing off, however, was that the driver’s side metal contact mount was broken / disintegrated / crumbled. As a stress point, I ain’t gonna try fixing it. 🙂‍↔️

Luckily, I was able to order the
“last one available in the world” (apparently) from my local MB dealer, and it’s currently en route from Germany. 🇩🇪

So, before I break something… any insight or guidance would be greatly appreciated. 🙏

(Oh, and the black wire in the pics is the USB-C cable for my rear dash cam, mounted on top of the brake lamp housing.)
