RMA process: They shipped REFURBISHED PSU but the one I originally purchased was BRAND NEW, is this normal?

Quick context:

  • My PC stopped working out of the blue, wouldn't even post
  • Took it local repair shop, said PSU is busted
  • I contacted Manufacturer and began the "Advanced RMA" process
  • I paid a deposit, they sent me a refurbished PSU, not brand new like I originally had purchased

To me that feels unfair, I've already had one scare with their faulty PSU breaking down and I know refurbished isn't necessarily "used" or broken, but it's also not brand new either.

My question is, is this normal for the RMA process to have the company provide you with a REFURBISHED part when your original part that broke was BRAND NEW?

PC does not turn on, RGB on RAM lights up but nothing else.

Hey all, I was in device manager disabling some HID and then USB inputs trying to find which one was my ps5 controller and then my PC shut down and won’t boot up.

I turned off the PSU and on again but only my RAM sticks light up. Everything else is black. Wtf did I do.

What I've tried:

  • I've tried a CMOS reset, didn't change anything
  • I've removed the GPU and slotted one stick of ram in 1A and then 1B, still nothing
  • I've removed the front panel IO header and turned it on by shorting the power switch, still nothing

No matter what I do my PC doesn't display anything and only the RGB on my ram sticks show any sign of power.

Fig (ish?) Tree started dropping leaves, concerned he's unhealthy

Purchased about 2 years ago. It was never really thriving but it wasn't yellowing like it is now.

  • Sits in front of a big window facing the west so he gets light pretty much from noon til dawn
  • Water about once a week, whenever I feel it's getting dry
  • Never re-potted the plant, nor fertalised it (I suspect this might be the issue but want to be sure)
  • One of our only plants to survive a mealy infestation -- I constantly check it for mealys but it's been clean every time I check surprisingly

Can anyone help with some ideas on how to bring this guy into better health?
