Wife and I agreed to separate. Where to start?
For context, we live in Virginia and agreed to end things peacefully. We have 2 kids and are both in boatloads of debt with hardly any assets. We’ve also agreed that we probably won’t need lawyers and things can go smoothly. What should be my first steps? What are everyone’s experiences with same-roof separation and peaceful coparenting?
