Just background, Canadian from the dating hell on earth as I like to call it Toronto lol, professional, early 50s, never married and no kids always focused on career and travel. Second time in Indonesia after a superb trip last summer, this time around it has been an eye opening revelation. First the good, if you can't get a date and laid in Jakarta, the problem is you! Not the women. I don't want to hear about Islamic this or that from Jim Bob in Nebraska wearing his MAGA hat having never left his town. Lots of great restaurants, very nice people and malls I have never seen on any scale.
The bad oh boy this is a gritty, chaotic, insane levels of traffic city, the air pollution makes places I have been to (Bogotá, México City) look like Scandinavia. I was sick for at least the first 2 days as my body adjusted. Now the women, oh boy, absolutely beautiful many of them but I'm finding the level of immaturity is low. Like the high school kids I teach low, went on a date with a woman who is 40 and constantly making TikTok videos, another claims she does website development t, later admitted to being unemployed and her online content consists of her in AI outfits lip syncing to Arab and Indian songs 😄 I witnessed 3 women in a coffee shop all pushing 30, with a cellphone propped up against a coaster doing a coordinated dance using their hands!!
Dudes is the rest of Asia like this? I'm very interested in seeing Japan just for the culture and Tokyo looks awesome, but are the women there the same?
So what is the consensus here, do we like the home or away kit more? I am having trouble deciding myself haha.
Anyone catch the latest video uploaded? What is anyone's take? Mine is as an outsider who isnt Latin American I find the whole thing nonsensical and I am surprised it was put up, the reasoning and the rankings of these countries makes no sense, there is obvious bias and just disrespecting Central America.
Those of you who have travelled to southeast Asia, how far ahead did you use dating apps to set up dates? got a trip coming up next month and looking for advice from the experts, not the dudes who have never left their town in Nebraska please or the hey try the cold approach crowd, that is certainly not happening.
Yet another complaint about that ridiculous remote, I have had this TV which has been amazing since February, complete tech novice here and yesterday that spinner knob thing in the middle of the remote literally fell out and I cannot find it. I have an Apple TV but the main issue is how do I switch back to the main TV options when I want to play my console or 4k player? I know it will be an easy obvious answer haha.
It is not bad but that contract with Castore really needs to end, anyone old enough to remember the days of the Kappa??
So kind of a different type of question, I bought a Stetson Open Road Royal Deluxe a couple of years ago, removed the original hat band and threw it away, kind of regret it now lol, is there anywhere reliable to buy a replacement online? any help is appreciated.
Canadian teacher soon to be retired looking for places, prefer a city of at least medium size, I will have an excellent pension, speak good Spanish after working and living in Latin America for several years, so there is no need to work or take anything from the Spanish state. My only requirements are that I am not a fan of severe heat and humidity and I am disabled but can walk so no places with a rugged landscape.
I have looked into the Basque country, Asturias and Galicia in their major cities (Bilbao, Oviedo, A Coruna, my question is are there other regions/cities/towns that I am missing out on that anyone can advise?
