My first mini vs my latest mini (about a year apart)

Well, to be precise, that grot is not my *first-first* model ever, that would be LotR Moria Goblin in like, 2004. I was 11 back then, so I don’t really count it. I’ve moved to Warhammer Fantasy Battle later and left the hobby circa 2008-2009.
After many many years I’ve decided to come back to painting minis to do something fun and artsy, but not connected to my job (I’m an illustrator). Anyways, after 15+ years hiatus in hobby I consider myself a novice, so yeah, that grot is a first mini, really.

Just curious. How did the guys react when you tried to interact with them?

Me and some friends met Damon (plus Smoggy, Seye and Jeff) back in 2017 in Warsaw. Smoggy noticed my forearm tattoo (which is the Plastic Beach era anchor that the whole band got back in the day), was very curious about it and drew Damon’s attention to it. I don’t really remember what D said about the tattoo, cause I was so starstruck, but the whole encounter was really nice. We took a photo with him, he signed a few memorabilia and that was it.

I’m yet to meet Jamie in real life, although a few years back he complemented my drawing of Rock the House Murdoc on Instagram, which is something.
