How helping a grieving cat?
We lost Flower(the black and white tom) unexpectedly on Tuesday due to a urinary blockage, Fern definitely is in a funk, she’s eating and drinking alright but she disappears to her cat tree and can’t be tempted down by treats in between meals.
PS. The orange kitten was a foster, they helped raise for 2 weeks

I didn’t realize how lonely nursing can be
It sucks being the only one with a kid in a friend group. I was left completely alone twice today to nurse while trying to hang out with some friends. The first time was at the farmer’s market to nurse my 8 week old daughter and the second was at the mall. They wanted to look at the vendors/stores and by the time she was fed and had her diaper changed, they were ready to leave and I did my shopping alone :/ I can handle pushing through the night feedings but being left behind because of the commitment I’m making to breastfeed is hard. I don’t blame them as they genuinely don’t know what it’s like but I reached out to my one mom friend to met up for support and am practicing nursing in my ring sling to be more mobile eventually
