Interesting thing I just noticed.... ever since I turned off the promoted closet... when I list a new item it's not getting any shares now. Whereas before promoted listing came out, and even during, I would normally get a ton of shares.
Has anyone else seen this?
Bear in mind I'm an Ambassador II so it's no small thing. I listed an item over 9 hours ago and not a single share. 🤬

Is this fake or real, I certainly didn't request it. It came to my Hotmail account. I have multi factor authentication, too. I don't know if I should change my PW or not, but it seems like it's a fake to me. The profile pic says "MA" when it usually just says"M" and the email address seems a little...... long.
I just bought this chonk at an outdoor market, the lady at the booth was like "he's authentic" and I was like um no definitely not but I love him all the same 😂💙😍

I'm getting fed up with no sales and being undercut by automated drop shippers and low ballers. This deactivated listings thing is the last straw.
I sell a lot of cool stuff, but I barely make any sales now and that "promoted closet" cost me more than I made. I don't use AI on my listings and never will.
I'm sick of listing an item and getting an offensive lowball offer, it's an immediate block from me. Or they put it in their bundle, I make an offer (nobody ever offers first anymore) and then they unlike and remove from the bundle without a word or counter.
What's a good Canadian alternative?
I stopped selling on Etsy and eBay because of fees and whatnot. Craigslist is more hassle than it's worth. I don't have Facebook and don't intend to, so marketplace is out. I've tried Karrot, but I don't enjoy people knowing my location so never got off the ground with it. Depop seems like it's on its way out, or is more fashion geared. Vinted isn't in Canada anymore.

We're going to be in Okinawa in a few months and I'm trying very hard to find a reasonably priced manual Jimny to rent (my fave) but am having no luck. Is it just because I'm looking very early? Or are there really very few manual Jimnys? I don't need one with all the camping equipment. Has to be a Jimny... I have a hold on an automatic, but would really prefer manual. 🤞🏼
