Cele II version 2

Just got delivered today!

I’ve heard mixed things about current cele’s for my use case I think these will work. Interested in what you guys think.

I am a very experienced ice hockey player, and a strong power skater on ice. I wear Bauer supreme fit 3 currently. Ive never played much inline hockey. I there in first grade before ice hockey and played a session in the summer in 6th grade just to be on a buddy’s team who didn’t play ice, then after ice ended in high-school I subbed in on friends rec team maybe 4 times.

I plan to use these on outdoor smooth asphalt rinks near my house. Thats kinda it for now maybe in the future join a team but who knows. I wanted these just to skate around and work with the puck at those outdoor rinks inbetween ice games. After I bought them I started hearing pretty bad stuff about QC on current cele’s and was little worried while waiting for delivery. These look like they are in good shape.

I don’t know anything about wheels. These are 76a. Is that good on asphalt? Or should I get something else? My thought was to wear them out and replace when needed or get better indoor wheels if I ever need them.

For the way I’m using them I don’t want anything expensive I was back and forth on these and mission fs02. Went with these because inline warehouse said they accommodate wider feet. These are very wide but feel comfortable so far. May add a thicker/better insole to limit any negative space.

Any feedback is appreciated.

Is this retailer legit?

Anyone order from them? I have a pair of missions in my cart that are on sale for 96 bucks seems a little too good to be true.

Skate buying help please.

Hello, need some advice. SKIP TO LAST PARAGRAPH IF TOO LONG.

I’m not new to hockey but haven’t played in like 16 years. Back when I played there was no fit 1-3 or any of that jazz. It was just buy tacks if you have a wide foot and Bauer was narrow/regular.

Then ccm stopped making tacks for a while so I had Bauer vapor xxv. The ones what would have come out like around 2007. Those skates got stollen 8 years ago, so 6 years ago a bought a new pair of vapor x700 in the same size as my old ones. I’ve skated in them 15-20 and it’s just not working. I’ve gotten them stretched and that helped a little, but still not feeling great.

I’m playing more again now, and want something that’s gonna work and not screw my feet up. I’ve had arch issues and plantar fasciitis issues pretty bad in that 16 years I wasn’t playing.

I got fitted to and they said size 8 fit 2. I told them my shoes are all size 10.5-11.5 wides. The length just depends on the shoe and how wide it is, and shape of it. They said okay let’s bump you up to 8.5 and start with fit 2. I thought fit 3 felt a lot better. I’m a little worried that when I bake them and break them in fit 3 may be two wide. Do players go with what feels good in the store, or the scan and expect baking and break-in to make up the difference?? I’m probably gonna get supreme f50 pro…. I’m hoping I don’t yolo into the fuse, but I’m known to do that type of stuff.

Thanks,

How many of us RL owners have actually had someone say it’s not a real truck? Or anything negative about the Ridgeline?

Once thing I’ve noticed about Ridgeline owners in the past year I’ve had mine is owners are always rushing tl defend the truck. All my friends, co-workers and acquaintances that drive trucks have never said anything negative about mine.

Before I purchased it my boss was like “No don’t get that, those are so bad looking. Check the Ranger or Colorado, or find a Tacoma from 2023 or older.” Then when I bought it and showed it to him he was like yeah you’re right this awesome! A few other coworkers drive big full sized trucks and they all love Ridgelines even though they all have full sized trucks from American brands.

Another guy that I’m pretty close with but he’s more of my best friend’s friend than I’d say he’s my friend was surprised when I picked him up in it. He’s always had Silverado’s and Rams and when I pulled up he said “woah you got the Hondawg!” Then got in and loved it. Our mutual friends has an f150 and always says he wish he knew about the ridgeline when he bought his truck. It’s exactly what he needed.

I’ve met other RL owners in public who go outta their way to come talk to me about how we have the best truck on the market. It just seems like everyone’s rushing to defend it all the time and I’ve never felt like I needed to. Nobody has ever said a single negative thing to me about it.

Maybe I just don’t hang out in real truck guy circles 🤷‍♂️
