I filed an OSHA report on the company I formerly worked for (who was a contractor for a different company, and operated on their site) regarding managing acidic/corrosive drums with little safety equipment, no protocols for spills and chemical accidents in transport trucks/vans, and gave the information I could to OSHA. I have two questions:

1. Even though this was filed to my former employer, would the contractor also be affected? This is because they’re still on their facility, and perform services for them at their facility.
2. How would OSHA follow up?

I’m in quite a big financial problem at the moment. I can’t rely on my two credit cards because they’re maxed out, and my rent was paid this week…which left me with only $100 left for myself which immediately went to groceries and gas. I already DoorDash currently just for gas and grocery money. I have a $162 Verizon phone bill, a $250 water bill for my apartment, $24 for renters insurance, $60 for electricity (after BGE credited me back for having me under the wrong apartment for the account), I owe almost $400 to the IRS in taxes…and I have nothing. There is no more money in my name, there’s no credit cards to rely on, and my next check isn’t coming until next week. All of these bills are due this week. I’m very isolated from my family currently (due to being LGBTQ+), and my friends don’t have much money to provide either.

What can I do? I feel so hopeless currently, and I’m doing this while also still attending college and I need a new job by the end of the summer just so my courses don’t overlap.
