FYI- Rapco RAL 4010 ‘Panther Hot Pink’ is live

The quality you expect from Rapco, the lusterless finish we prefer, and the color for some reason a lot of people wanted. It’s HOT PINK

Looking for local graffiti artist/spray paint muralist

Hey! I’ve been trying to look online and on IG but am having a hard time so thought I’d ask the community. Anyone have any recommendations for a muralist/artist that does graffiti style spray paint work? If you could point me towards a website or IG so I can check them out that would be awesome. Thanks!

This is a new release from Streamlight and we feel like it’s like it’s kind of flying under the radar.

We read about this new light a few months back, and when they finally went live we snagged one to check out for ourselves.

It’s basically most of performance of the HL-X from a few years ago at about 3/4 the size and price. Our breakdown:

30k Candela/ 850 lumens is not far off from the 30k candela/1k lumens the HL-X sported just a few years ago before the upgrade. Side by side, even with the new 50k candela HL-X, you really don’t notice a whole lot of difference between the two. It’s there, but it’s minor.

As far as lumens go, I actually like the lower lumen count as it doesn’t blind you indoors but can still light up the night, with enough candela behind it to reach out at short to medium range.

The size is great, perfect for SBRs and sub guns, but will also save some rail space on a full size rifle. Almost identical in length to the SureFire M340DF.

“Multi-Fuel” in this case means it can take either the USB-C rechargeable SL-B9, or a single standard CR123. We noticed slightly better performance using the SL-B9. We chose to carry the model that includes the rechargeable battery, and honestly don’t know why they even offer a model that doesn’t for barely less.

The Jack Cap. We have mixed feelings about this. On one hand, the single tail cap that allows you to run with or without a pressure pad, and offers redundancy when doing so, is super functional. On the other hand, it’s got an ass on it. Almost laughably so.

To be honest, the bulkiness of the Jack Cap is why we ditched the HL-X Pro. But I think due to the smaller size of this light, I’ll be able to let it slide on this model.

Mounting- like the HL-X, the 1L-X comes with picatinny mount attached, and an optional M-Lok offset mount in the box. (For the Chad quad rail users, we’d recommend grabbing an offset Arisaka scout mount.)

And finally the price. As of 5/5/2026, we have this sitting at $130. (Which means you’ll probably be able to find it at other giant retailers and Amazon for even cheaper very soon, as is tradition with Streamlight products). In our opinion this makes it the perfect replacement for what the now $150 HL-X once was. A rock solid, dependable, and affordable weapon light packed with features and ready to go out of the box.

*P.S. I know our light test photos aren’t super scientific, we just don’t have a good space to easily test these out at distance at the moment in a way we can capture on camera. But hopefully it gives you an idea of how similar this is to the HL-X.
