Combining old Tigers

Since I have the newer Tiger 131 and Camo Tiger E, I decided to combine my older Tiger sets together to build something with a little more accuracy. I just used the instructions from both sets to build it. Hardest part was deciding which pieces to use on each step to get the desired camo effect I wanted.

M4A3E8 Scale Rework

Final Cobi Sherman scaling rework. M4A3E8 is now complete, and now the Shelf O' Shermans is together again. The "Easy 8" shared the same tracks as the M26 Pershing, so while the hull was the same width as all other Shermans, it was wider due to a special mudguard to cover the tracks. While not exact to what I had pictured due to parts availability, I'm happy with it. Work included widening/elongating the turret, widening the hull, redesigning the hull front, tracks and suspension, and the mudguard. Pics comparing it to standard Sherman, Pershing, and what it used to look like.

Scaling Reworks

Had this idea for awhile inspired by another redditor. Given Cobi's wonkiness of scaling in older sets, I decided to rework my old Shermans to match the newer M4A3 in 1:28 scale. So far, I updated my Sherman Jumbo, which just needed hull and mantlet widening, and a slight rear hull rework, and my WoT M4, which I originally had modified to an M4A1, which needed widening, hull rework, and turret rebuild. Next in my list is my M4A3E8, which needs an almost total overhaul. Last pics show the two reworks with the M4A3 for comparison.
