Loji any% glitchless speedrun 2: Electric Boogaloo

Thanks to relatively recent post by u/Zeranvor, I've got inspired to see how fast can one actually get Loji on Regular difficulty. So... here we are. I've managed to finish Phase 3 by November 13, 2024 and managed to finish the Project Web by September 16, 2025. All without console commands, glitches or any other unintended exploits by the game.

Honestly, while banking enough PP isn't that big of a deal, because La Resistance and the Agency exists (even with the recent nerf you still can field up to 5 agents, each can earn 25 PP every 100-ish days), it's the economy that gotta keep you on your toes. COVID, Oil crash and then Taiwan war fallout do remove quite a lot of GDP earners, and then you're additionally hit with the New Left economic policies that absolutely destroy all the business-oriented economy that China has - and you can't just watch the GDP debt raise due to the massive debuffs it now gives.

In theory, you can speed the stage 3 completion by 2-3 months as I had to wait for the Academic development and the Project Web by an additional month (I forgot to bank 50 more PP for the last decision). It is worth, though, especially with the new Grand Doctrines for the exoskeletons that you can unlock for 1EW to crush the enemies of the USSR with.

Final Eurasian War of 2037

I've managed to finish my first Loji run (it was very fun, even if I failed to save APLA from getting crushed), so the next step in growing larger to lead the humanity to the bright future was to contest Dugin's Eurasian State, that grew out of LDRP's empire ruins and now stretched from Vladivostok to the Pacific on land, with multiple islands all over the world. His fanatic army would be a major challenge as they managed to overwhelm NATO forces despite being on the backfoot and the initial loss of Rostov-on-Don due to a naval invasion - the very same move that had toppled Zhirinovskyi before.

So I've got to work. I've finished off Indian warlords bickering over the ruins, bringing peace, prosperity and several airfields with radars to oversee the southern borders. Then I've annexed Mongolia and expanded my infrastructure through the entire Sino-Eurasian border. Multiple supply hubs, railway connections, airfields, radars - even a backline of bunkers in positions that I've considered a potential weakspot, as I knew that there won't be turning back from this. So by 2037 - I felt that I was ready, so the war was declared.

In the end - Eurasia had fell, incapable to contest my naval and aerial dominance (backed by frontline-built radars on freshly conquered lands) which had led to several massive encirclements, as well as massive losses in an attempt to relocate forces through the sea of Okhotsk down to Iran-backed Yemen (that was in alliance with Eurasia). Not even all the islands across the world were capable of hiding them, so Dugin decided to self-exile himself with the remnants of his supporters into Siberian wilderness, and no one had heard from him ever again.

Long story short - I took a wrong guess at where Slav hordes would strike while my field armies were too busy finishing off Sarmats and Burgundii, so they besieged Campus Lombardi that was not fully prepared for multiple horde armies. I've managed to scramble a general and some horse reinforcements to relieve the siege and I sallied out.

It took a lot of running and luring AIs under the towers, but I managed to deal them so much damage they ordered a retreat, but battle's timer ran out 5 seconds before the last Slav unit would've left the battlefield on their own, declaring this bloodbath a "draw".

At least all 3 armies had routed on the strategic map thus lifting the siege, which is some relief to me.

I am sorry if my posts are getting spammy, but I genuinely feel that my BI campaign just falls apart on my own eyes.

So, the situation - this is the last Lombardi city that has Faction Leader and Faction Heir in it, and the faction doesn't have any other family members. Faction Heir has equal command skill but higher Management, so he is controlling the defense of the settlement during my assault. If I capture the settlement - Lombardi will horde, spawning 4 full stacks out of 4k citizens city, which is suboptimal and I want to avoid that, so the next step is to kill both generals and then retreat, which sounds easy enough.

However, for some insane reason, the game attaches the defending Heir to both general units, meaning that even if I fully wipe both of them, leader will SOMEHOW still survive, and in-game message will mark Heir killed twice.

Video file attached, and if you want - I can attach the save as well.

So, long story short - I've managed to corner ERE to last 2 cities of Salamis and Kotais and only single Family member stranded on Salamis.

Then Salamis goes rebel due to religion clash andd it goes to ERE (Rebels), with their own family member, while ERE's faction leader has his own army next to it. I land an army there, see this situation and decide to fight ERE's army first, and I manage to kill their leader in battle, prompting ERE to lose. Yet somehow this also killed ERE (Rebels), turning them into normal rebels and completely changing their army, removing a faction member and spawning Coastal Levies for whatever reason.
