I’ve been aware of Shokz for a while, but I’ve never tried open-ear headphones before. I used to run with Jaybird Vista 2s, but after they died, I switched to an Anker sports pair. I’m really not enjoying them because they completely block out ambient sound, and I can't wear them for long without them hurting.

I'm looking for a solid, well-rounded model. My routine includes:

• Outdoor running year-round (needs to handle Canadian winters)
• HIIT workouts
• Desk work / PC audio during the workday

I’m definitely not an audiophile—I just want something reliable where I can hear my music and stay aware of my surroundings.

Looking online it seems like the OpenRun Pro2 or OpenFit / OpenFit Air are what I'm looking for but the non IP67 rating worries me a little about longevity.

For anyone using these or other models in sub-zero/winter weather: how do they hold up with cold temperatures, under toques, or overtop a thin skiing mask/balaclava? Which model would you recommend?

As the title states, I'm looking for help finding the best option for 2 new phones and then plans for a family of 4.

The plan is to give my two young teens our old phones, with a basic plan for talk text and a little data. New(ish) phones for wife and I - we want to stay with Apple due to familiarity.

I'm shopping around, and honestly surprised at the cost for phones and plans lately, I have no idea what's a good deal or not (I'm still using the XR).

What do other families do for their kids? Are people really spending $60+ per line, and then phone cost on top of that?

Just asking this hurts my ego and makes me feel so old....be kind please lol
