Caution: Centauri Carbon 2 using glue when it’s not needed or instead of using tape.
Got my CC2 printer at the end of June and sadly end of July it broke with 801 errors.
Issue got worst when going through their wiki to replug the CANBus cable because they glued the cable even though it’s held by screws, which chipped the pins when I tried to unplug it. (Added a photo wasn’t the best but you can see a little of the glue residue left in the port)
They sent me a new motherboard, print head adapter, and new print head cable to replace , which isn’t the best solution because if you look at the links of the instructions especially the print head cable it’s practically tearing apart the whole machine.

(This is the craziest one, apparently I need to become an engineer to fix it) Video link for replacing the print head connecting cable: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s3r8JAiCHgE
At least they sent me a solution to fix it so I began going through the process but guess what I found on the motherboard ribbon, not tape but more glue!!! So removing the ribbon will just damage it. I’ve already sent an email about my situation so hopefully they just send me a new printer.
I caution you everyone from buying the CC2 right now. Makes me sad because the CC1 has been great for me and it’s still working well.
