Pattern grading/busk question

Pattern grading/busk question

I’m making my first corset, the Sakura corset by Nikki Blackwell. It’s an underbust corset. According to my measurements my underbust is 5 sizes smaller than my waist. I have graded the pattern accordingly, but this leaves me an issue where the front panels and busk placket have a large curve to them…. Where the busk is obviously not curved. Should I redistribute the additional material from there to other seams to straighten that out?

Have you tried being talented?

Cross stitch is OBJECTIVELY the ugliest embroidery there is. Anyone that does it is too LAZY to show off their creativity, and everything made with it is FUGLY. It takes zero talent to do, which is super lazy, and you use a pattern! A PATTERN! That tells you what to do!

I refuse to acknowledge that anyone using a pattern for anything else is doing the exact same thing because my hatred is solely for this particular needle art. I’m a gatekeeping bitch, come at me but you’ll never change my mind 💖💖💖

Met gala gown! Never sewn…

I’m just a beginner sewist 🪡🧵and I’m an absolute savant and genius 👩‍🏫. I think I can make a met gala gown by hand in two weeks since that’s about what it’s taken me when I built a rocket ship 🚀 , cured cancer 👩‍🔬, solved renewable energy ⚡️, and other super brilliant things!

So give me resources and information so I can do a super structured and sumptuous ballgown 👗 by hand in the same amount of time.

Also none of this is advanced sewing, I’m pretty sure it’s intermediate at most 🤷‍♀️
