How long until they have leasing options?

As a broke, newly graduated student who just started working and is also beginning a master’s program, money is pretty tight. I’m patiently hoping for a Blank Slate giveaway.

I love the idea behind the truck, and I think the price is amazing. Even so, I can’t afford one right now.

I’ve always been a big supporter of Framework laptops and Prusa because of their focus on right to repair, open-source designs, and making products that last. Seeing those same ideas applied to a vehicle is really exciting.

Right now I drive a 2008 Toyota Camry. It’s simple, reliable, and easy to work on. I added a $100 Apple CarPlay and Android Auto screen, and it gave my old car the few modern features I actually wanted. It still has the simple three-knob HVAC controls, and honestly, I love that.

I know hoping for a giveaway is a long shot, but there’s no harm in hoping.

What I really want is a reliable EV without a bunch of unnecessary electronics or a giant screen controlling every function. Give me physical controls, a simple display for music and navigation, and a vehicle that’s built to last and easy to repair. That’s all I need.

I was wondering how long do you think I’d need to wait to be able to buy a used slate. I love the concept and I really want to buy one but I have a hard time being an early adopter and seeing the cost of used teslas I’m wondering when I could buy a used slate and for how cheap. Seeing that the slate truck is starting so low I wonder what the used price will look like. What will the used market for the kits look like. I know that there’s no answers just wondering what everyone’s ideas are.
