I have got a retention offer of 5k points to retain Amex gold as my annual fee is due end of August. I applied for Cobalt and wanted to do points transfer to cobalt and close Gold account. If I keep gold then there's $250 fees in exchange to acquire 5000 points + monthly cobalt fees(this is my 2nd cobalt so no welcome bonus either)

What would be ideal scenario in this case. My annual spending is probably $12-15k on Amex.

1. Retain gold by paying $250 and acquiring 5000points

2. Cancel gold, decline the 5000 points and continue using cobalt.

I just got my QM7K, right off the bat as I was setting the tv up it is so bright as I'm coming from a Hisense LCD tv from 2021. There's clearly an amazing picture for TCL. My question is what are the most ideal settings you guys are using? I'm mainly going to watch sports, movies and kids will watch YouTube. Any recommendations as I've seen some people mentioning specific settings so wanted to get an opinion.

Although it's a brand new tv but is there a way I can check the running hours and LED health or something like that ? Please let me know thanks.
