How affordable is OOS/private

I’m applying to transfer this fall from California Community College as a business/international business (Korean) major. I’m 24 (took many years off) so I’m honestly really overwhelmed/ confused with the transfer process.

I have 3.9 gpa and planning to apply to UCs and CSUs. I’m low income so UC/CSU would be very affordable for me.

I’ve heard people getting full rides or good financial packages to OOS and private schools,
but realistically is it worth applying to private/ OOS schools instead of just sticking to UC and CSUs which would be affordable?
Are there many cases where private or OOS schools give adequate financial aid packages to transfer students so I don’t go so deep into debt?

If so, what business programs would you recommend applying for?

Thank you all🙏🏼

UC CSU transfer gpa??

Hi all
I’m at a CCC applying to UCs and CSUS this fall. My community college does not give - or + grades, just full letter grades.
When I transfer, will UC/CSUs just count everything as the letter grade I was given ?
or do they go in to see the A I got is a 92 which would technically be an A- and count it as 3.7

CCC taking extra credits

Hi all,
If I have 17 credits (max amount) at one California community college, and I take an extra 3 credit online from a different college, would that cause any issues? Like do the colleges talk to each other and prevent taking too many credits?
