Wanna ask about the REX, M2EX project

Hi all, yesterday I found out about this project and I literally got the most excited I've ever been in a while but wanted to ask - is it too good to be true? Is it safe? Is there an available source code that people can check?

Personally, I wanna say I absolutely do not care about the legal matters of it as I've seen that this has been a debate for some. Med 2 and Rome 1 are my favorite Total War games and seeing M2EOP and M2EX actually make these games better is my childhood dream.

I want victories to matter in this game.

I want victories to matter.

In War Thunder, half the team dies in the first 3-4 minutes of the game. Then they just hop on another battle while we, the idiots who stay alive, have to play except whether you win or not doesn't really matter. Literally 2/3s of the battles I and a few others from my team end up surviving. Same on the other team. And then a slow, tactical battle ensues where a wrong move can cost the whole battle. I've literally had 10 objective caps on Ground realistic.

Does this matter? No. Some random dude who grinds "the correct way" or has a magical premium machine is gonna gain more RP, silver and is gonna train his crew better, thus when you actually want to transition to the higher BR, you are gonna be at a massive disadvantage.

This game almost completely eliminates the need to actually play for victories which is utterly ironic because, guess what, I don't play this game as a card collector. I wanna have a tank and outsmart and destroy other people in tanks. Simple as. I don't want to have to roleplay to actually make myself play for victories. I don't care that much for the higher BRs.

Literally feeling like I am ignored while playing this game and in the community as a whole. There is so much whining about premium machines, high BRs when literally nobody is forcing you to buy premiums, to play high BRs yet the people who actually wanna play casually and, I don't know, have battles with historical tanks (preposterous, I know!), are being ignored.

Why do they add premium slop? Cuz someone is buying it. I've never given Gaijin a single coin, never will, I've been playing since before the Ground war, before that I played WoT since 2011. Frankly, the meta fanboys and mindless consumerists and grinders are the bigger problem in this game to me. And because of people like this is War Thunder heading into the direction of WoT.

In general, the most outspoken parts of the community as a whole is just quite detached from my feelings as a casual player.

TLDR 1. I want to have more silver or RP when I end up playing such battles. I have friends who play this game, buy premiums and all that. The guy literally gained almost twice as much silver and died in the first 5 minutes of the game while I survived till the end with more kills than him (!) and actually won the battle.

  1. I want more new historical vehicles.
