فيه ظاهرة منتشرة من (بعض) الرجالة أنهم لما يشوفوا ست عملت جريمة زي مثلا قضية ليندسي كلينسي ويلاقو مثلا فيه ستات بيدافعو عنها يستخدمو الموضوع كعذر عشان يبينو ال misogyny أو كراهية النساء اللي مترسخة جواهم من غير ما حد يقولو ايه الوساخة دي.

ويجي بقي واحد يقولك النسوان اتجننت ومكنش المفروض نديهم حقوق وشيلو منهم حقوقهم وبتاع يعني احا ما الرجالة بترتكب نسبة ٩٠٪ من جرائم العنف والقتل و ٩٨٪ من الجرائم الجنسية و ٩٧٪ من جرائم الاعتداء الجنسي على الأطفال ونسبة ٨٥٪ من العنف المنزلي، هل شوفتو حد بيقول نلغي حقوقكو ونعدل القانون؟ ولا احنا فاهمين يعني ايه مسئولية فردية!!!

زي في حادثة القطر الراجل الاسمر اللي قتل واحدة من غير سبب شوفت ناس بيض بيستغلو الموضوع عشان يبينو عنصريتهم!

انا مش مهتمة بقضية ليندسي كلينسي ولو هي غلطانة وفي ستات بيدافعو عنها يعني مفيش رجالة بتدافع عن الرجالة بحجة انو راجل مثلا؟؟

دا الرجالة اللي بادئين بأنهم يبررو للرجالة التانيين التحرش وقتل مراتاتهم وتعنيفهم!

في الفترة الأخيرة فيه اكتر من راجل قتلو مراتاتهم وعيالهم عشان يعرفو يتجوز الجديدة تقريبا خمس الرجالة في خلال الفترة بتاعت من ساعة قضية ليندسي كلينسي شوفتو حد بيطالب بإلغاء حقوق الرجال؟ أو بيقول الرجالة اتجننو وبقو عاطفيين عشان كدا مينفعش يحكمو؟؟

لو انت بتقول علي الست اللي مش فيرجين 'مفتوحة' أو بشكل عام بتشير للستات بمصطلحات تشيئية زي دي ف انت نظرتك للست انها علبة وفي هذه الحالة والدتك تكون ست مفتوحة برضوا بس ست مفتوحة شريفة عشان جوزها اللي 'فتحها'.

ولو انت لما بتحب تشتم واحدة بتشير لها انها انها 'رخيصة' أو بتشير للست عموما انها 'غالية' أو 'رخيصة' ف انت نظرتك للست انها سلعة لانو السلع بس اللي بيبقي ليها سعر سواء غالي أو رخيص.

ف انا بصراحه مش متخيلة احمل في واحد تسع شهور وفي الاخر يحطلي سعر بس المفروض ارتاح لانو على الأقل حاطلي سعر غالي صح؟ احسن من الرخيص برضوا.

لو انت اتضايقت من الموضوع دا لان انت مش حابب أن والدتك يتم حصرها في علبة أو شئ يُفتح ويُغلق أو سلعة لها سعر ف راجع مبادئك ونظرتك الأساسية للست وارسي على حاجة هل الست من وجهة نظرك شئ وسلعة أو لا.

تنبيه: انا مش بغلط في والدة اي حد انا بشوف الستات كبني ادمين وممكن اكون بحترمها اكتر منك لو انت بتسلع المرأة بشكل عام لان والدتك مرأة ومع كامل احترامي

بتقعدو تقولو على الغرب بيسلعو المرأة وفي نفس الوقت بتقيسو قيمة الست بغشاء البكارة أو الفيرجينيتي بتاعتها.

يعني المطلقة أقل قيمة من العذراء لو هتروح تتجوزها.

العذرية هي مجرد مفهوم ثقافي وتسعير الست علي أساسه تخلف. ولو انت فكرتك انها زنت قبل كدا وعملت ذنب عايزه اقولك أن انت قصتك مش في الدين. لأنها لو قالتلك انها في فترة كانت مقصرة في صلاتها أو مبتصليش هتقول عادي كلنا بنعمل ذنوب وتلاقيك انت شخصيا بتقطع في الصلاة والتقطيع في الصلاه هو ذنب اكبر من الزنا. ف واجه الحقيقة وانك نظرتك للست فيها تشيئ وبتفكر في الموضوع كأنها شئ مستعمل وغير مستعمل.

دي مش حقيقة احنا مش شعب متدين بطبعه احنا بنتدعي أن احنا متدينين بطبعنا عشان مبنشربش خمرة ولا بنزني ولا بناكل لحم خنزير ولكن الحقيقة أن احنا مبنعملش الحرام الصعب بس.

لان بص وانت ماشي في الشارع الشباب اللي بيسبو الدين واللي هو قد يكون كفر واكبر من شرب الخمر والزنا.

بص قذف المحصنات ازاي سهل بالنسبة لنا ومنتشر رغم انو من البيع موبقات بينما الزنا مش من السبع موبقات.

بص على كمية الناس اللي مبتصليش أو مش ملتزمة بصلاتها رغم أن ترك الصلاة اكبر من الزنا واكل الخنزير والي آخره.

انا كشخصي مش متدينة بس بوضحلكو بس النقطة دي عشان انا بكره النفاق.

لو الزنا وشرب الخمور كانو سهلين وسريعين زي أن انت تشتم حد أو تفوت صلاه كنت عملناهم عادي.

جماعة نزلت بوست على صب القاهرة عن التعصب الديني وكنت بتكلم عليه عادي ويوضح هو عامل ازاي وقولت أسبابه البيولوجية قام الموديريتور شال البوست وعاملي بان.

هو صب القاهرة مجتمع صغير للفيسبوك جوا ريديت ولا ايه ايه الهبل دا؟

هو مفيش وسط يأما صب الاسكندريه وناس تخش تشتم في معتقدات الناس ويمنعو الطرف التاني من الرد عليهم ياما صب القاهرة هنتعامل علي اساس المتطرفين اتحسسو يعيني مش فاهمة ايه القرف دا.

خصوصا اني البوست بتاعي مكانش رايي حتي دا انا حطيت تعريف التطرف ووضحته وبعدين أسبابه البيولوجية.

I scored 5 on all

Context:

I have transitioned from a national school to an international school (both in my counties) at grade 11

It was a linguistic challenge because I have taken humanities in my native language my entire life but then it was a complete English medium in my new school

My school offered no APs at all; I self studied these above and registered independently.

My school has no average SAT score because students didn't take it.

Extracurriculars:

I don't know if that's a thing but I secured a seat at the national medicine school in my country (it's the highest in the coordination system and only 5% of the seats are allocated for students holding foreign diplomas like me so yeah that's rare in my country)

Do ivies and top schools truly evaluate students in context? Like is it truly a holistic process?

I mean assuming I have very strong teachers' recommendations and great essays, do I have a chance?

Are my ECs so weak?

I have no research or Olympiads

And professors aren't interested in researching with a highschool student. That's a third world country so no one truly cares

Should I just give up at that point?

My school had no student government organized clubs or an option of organizing clubs even.

I have a list of ECs but like I don't know if they matter

I am an international student and I am thinking of applying to Ivies

The problem is that I have no strong extracurriculars

My school has no student government or clubs I could join

And I live in a third world country, so teachers and students wouldn't care or support you to organize something in school

I am a volunteer at local associations like the red crescent and other ones and I have some achievements but I need help figuring out if they are good enough or impressive or not
