I used to follow a social media creator who gained popularity in 2020 (?) and is now LA based (LA snark reddit won't let me post this). She's in her mid-20s, makes content about fashion/ootds (is known for her unique/vintage/cool girl aesthetic). I am specifically searching for the video she made showing her different work out/hiking fits for inspiration. There were a bunch and her room looked dark wood paneled if that is helpful at all?? I believe that she is a redhead and named Morgan, but I cannot find her anywhere! Thank you so much:)

Hi all, just looking for some advice and clarification that I’m interpreting the law correctly.
My roommate and I vacated our unit April 28th, the landlords did an inspection 29th, our lease ended the 30th.
The property coordinator emailed us on May 12th that she would be taking money out of the deposit for repairs (these are normal wear and tear but it’s beside the point). After some communication about the 2 week timeline for getting the full deposit, she informed us on May 14th that she sent the check.
QUESTION: Are we entitled to our full security deposit? I read on the NYC rent guidelines board that we are entitled to the deposit 14 days after vacating. She claims that 14 days starts at the end of the lease. Either way, she mailed the check 14 days after the lease ended, 16 days after we vacated and we have not** **received the check either. Are we in the right? Is it worth pursuing the full deposit?
This is what I have been basing it off (from guidelines board website):
“Within fourteen days after the tenant has vacated the premises, the landlord shall provide the tenant with an itemized statement indicating the basis for the amount of the deposit retained, if any, and shall return any remaining portion of the deposit to the tenant. If a landlord fails to provide the tenant with the statement and deposit within fourteen days, the landlord shall forfeit any right to retain any portion of the deposit”
