is anyone here going to the pop up? what time do you think people are going to arrive and start lining up? is it going to be like the rhode island pop up where people were showing up at midnight and camping out overnight??
im planning a solo trip and probably gonna do a lil bit of shopping around there while im at it, if anyone wants to join me you’re more than welcome to (driving up from waco) :)

anybody got any good spots to take their dogs off leash?? my dogs are well trained for off leash adventures and they love to hunt.
ive taken them to koehne park, but there isn’t much walking to do over there, and on some trails at cameron park but with it being summer time now im not sure if the trails at cameron will be crowded and full of people that will bich and complain?

they shoulda done a brown knitted bucket hat like the grey one they had for the lemontini drop
coulda made it the light brown to match colada, woulda gone perfectly with the dark brown towel 😩

my (28f) husband (29m) has decided to join the orthodox christian church and is going to mass every sunday and going to sunday school so he can get baptized. i grew up in a very catholic household and walked away from the religion (for many reasons) after i got my confirmation and turned 17. i have since found a closer relationship and understanding of god through spirituality. my husband didn’t grow up with any religion in his household but both parents were some sub of christian but didn’t practice. we (my husband and i) connected on a more open minded spiritual outlook on life originally but now i feel like we have a huge disconnect, like we are walking on separate paths in different directions. i am completely turned off by his new religious beliefs, views, and actions. i feel like i can’t talk to him about anything anymore, like before, it’s like he is constantly trying to persuade me to join his side or trying to prove to me that he found the right and only way. when our daughter was born i expressed to him how i wanted to raise her with all the religions so she can have an understanding of them all and make her own choice as she got older, he was okay with that and agreed on it at the time. now, he is taking her with him every sunday and signed her up for a week long summer camp at the church. when i brought up to him how i still want to teach her about all the different religions he said “that will only confuse her. she doesn’t need to learn that right now”.
i don’t know how to handle this or what to do. i don’t know if i will ever be able to look at him the same way and have that attraction to him anymore.

tl;dr: new religious beliefs is a big turn off for me and i don’t know what to do? this is not how i envisioned raising my daughter or how my household would be.

my take on the “apples to oranges” caption is that it wasn’t a tease for a new lip tint/scent but for the bronzers. like going from pinks and reds for blushes (apples) to warm toned browns for bronzers (oranges)

i have pink undertones but my lips have started to lose color/get pale. im thinking maybe lunge, bend, lift, or press? no sephora store nearby to test out :/

i’ve been holding off on buying rhode for a long time, trying to convince myself that “i just don’t neeeed it” but i definitely did lol

i was a smoker for 10 years and developed a bad habit of biting my lips (ik,ik) and i had this one scab on my lip that just wasn’t going away so i got the banana lip treatment to try out and after just ONE night it basically healed it! poof, gone! im blown away 🤩 and it smells so good! (like banana bread which i looove) and i noticed that it wasnt sticky, but a nice slippery texture (i used to hate wearing lipgloss when i was growing up cause it was always so sticky and having super long hair, it would always stick to my lips) plus, it stayed on alllll night which has me flabbergasted cause idk how it didnt get wiped off in my sleep lol
this morning i tried pretzel (reminds me of this one bath n body works vanilla flavored lip gloss i had growing up lol) & it stayed on throughout breakfast and idk why im again shocked by that 😂

but i think this is the answer to finally being able to break my bad habit for good!! 🥲
ive tried so many different chapsticks and lip treatments and none of them have been able to do what this did in one night!
and tbh same goes for the pimple patches. ive tried so many different ones and for the most part i have to use them for 2-3 days but the rhode ones got me cleared up just over one night (even my scabs).

im having a hard time deciding between the sweet pea and pretzel mag safe cases. your opinions are welcome! (i am not a fan of magenta anything but the mauves im cool with lol) im getting a white one as well and im leaning more towards the sweet pea cause one of my fave colors is turquoise and i feel like those two would pair well together plus im hoping she’ll come out with a lavender scented lippie and matching case in the future. what do you guys think?
