Saw both of these recipes posted here recently and made them both for dinner tonight. 10/10 recommend they were both absolutely delicious.
Both of these cookbooks were available to me on Libby and I’ll definitely be tagging them to try additional recipes!

Oatmeal raisin and Brownie cookies from 100 Cookies Both recipes were simple and easy to make. Both turned out great but I think between the two we liked the oatmeal raisin the best.
After 10+ stressful years where I just haven’t had much energy or desire to cook or bake I’ve finally like really getting in the kitchen again (finding this sub has brought me so much joy!). I baked my first cake in well over tens years. Some mistakes were made in the baking (it’s been a while) but the cake still turned out well just a bit dense. All errors are those of the baker not the recipe.
Overall very delicious, if I make it again I think I’ll add some crushed pineapple and maybe some cherries.
I also made the Fennel and Golden Raisin Rolls from
The Big Book of Bread (I forgot to grab a picture so I snagged a stock photo from the book). The rolls were yummy I don’t like raisins so I used dates instead.
If you want a smile today, look up Peter and Eddie the cat. They go on great adventures together and there are lots of shoulder snuggles and pats.
It's also clear that Eddie has given Peter purpose in life.
In the post where Peter introduces Eddie he says Eddie was listed as a Persian, but he doesn't look like a Persian to me.
One of my favorite restaurants is frita batidos in Ann Arbor sadly I live in TN. Does anyone have any good recommendations for Cuban cookbooks?
