Is this game anything like the golden era of id say 6 through 9 or a completely different game entirely? Just finished a playthrough of the golden era and I saw someone mention this game recently. Any input or opinion is absolutely welcome, and ty in advance.
My first ever playthrough of LOTF was with a friend and I did a pure radiance playthrough with Pieta's sword and I thought honestly the absurd damage was just because of the Adyr buffs my friend was doing, recently did a Lord playthrough (str and inferno) and felt like damage fell off hella hard around Abbey of Hallowed Sisters and everything in Bramis was just a damage sponge. After I finished that playthrough and started a run as Radiant Purifier I felt like I breezed through the game using Pieta's sword again. Is radiance just the LOTF equivalent of doing a sorcery run in demons souls and dark souls? Super powerful and not a lot of resistances or is it just Pieta's sword?
Has anyone been having an issue the past week or so where Equivalent Exchange just will not revive you? Just had a game where I killed 6 or 7 enemies and even melee'd a weaker zombie and it would not revive me no matter what. Usually its pretty easy to use it to revive but lately it just feels like it wont work.
Managed to get it on my first race, absolute crazy luck, 16 balloons and 0 hits. I can imagine my luck for the rest of this run is gonna be just gone after that.
