My partner (30M) has Avn in both hips. Hes has the diagnosis over a year now. Hes is stage 3 so he’s not a candidate for core decompression anymore just hip replacement. He scheduled his surgery but now we’re second guessing on if it’s too early. The ortho doc kept saying to hold on as long as possible before getting it done.
What made you decide it was time?
Also, he’s usually very athletic. Those that are too, how are running/gym activities post THR?
