EBay kinda blows now.

If you’re a big seller that sells 100s of items a month then it’s not so bad, but if you’re a smaller seller that wants to sell some old stuff, good luck getting visibility without paying fees. Then you have to pay more fees on top of that…

Is anyone here medicated for schizophrenic conditions, if so, what medications do you take or recommend?

I’ve been researching medications for a while. Can anyone share their thoughts?

I tried to “detransition”, then I felt psychosis symptoms

I wondered if I had some form schizophrenia. For example, I had “imaginary friends” well into my teens. Talking to myself was not uncommon. I was eccentric and an outcast in school. I was seen as bright intelligence wise, but I had issues with procrastination and doing things last minute.

It’s partly my upbringing to blame, but I also dealt with depression and isolation. I remember being on the computer for hours playing video games and mmorpgs. Schizophrenia runs on mother’s side ( one of my relatives recently had mental breakdown and has to take medication to deal with their symptoms). My father was strange behavior wise. He never stayed in one place and would wander from state to state.

I remember when I took estrogen I felt more mentally “sane”. Before I had anxiety, paranoia, of course hearing loud thoughts that I would speak to, OCD. And after, even on a low dose things felt “quiet”. I recently read a Wikipedia page about estrogen effects on mental health and estrogen levels are correlated with schizophrenic symptoms (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Effects\_of\_estrogen\_on\_schizophrenia).

There were a few times I went off, but every time I felt like I was going manic. There are effects with going off of HRT but I felt like I was losing touch with reality. I would think and do things that don’t make sense rationally or make rash decisions, coupled with the loud thoughts, anxiety, etc.

I’m not sure how to feel about this. I don’t want to take antipsychotics because of all the side effects. I tried applying for SSI once, but they said I was too able abodied and educated. Even though I feel I could live without taking estrogen, I feel I would have to avoid people, social interactions, wondering in certain areas, stores, and accept being this eccentric appearing person that talks to themself on the street.
