New builder looking for advice

I recently received a 13 ft gheenoe lowsider for free in marketplace. It had two small holes in the bottom that I patched. I did a float test and it did not leak, so I started on the front deck. I showed some friends the first three pics and they said I probably should redo what I did. My question is would it be ok finish the deck now and wait till this winter when i plan on really doing it up or should it stop now and restart? I wanted to see how i like it very simple with just the Front deck before I did Anything crazy to it. Any feedback would be really appreciated. I know my work is sub par this my first time doing anything like this. Thank you for your time.

DIY outrigger update

Just wanted to post an update about my outriggers. (Old pic before I had the battery secured properly) They are holding up on the water perfectly and have been able to enjoy fishing on my kayak so much more than before. I also wanted to add that I was actually able to get a bigger boat, so I will be able to use the kayak the way it’s supposed to again lol. someone was giving away a gheenoe for free in my area and I grabbed it as fast as I could. she is solid. Hope everyone is a having great one. Thank you all for supporting my redneckification.

Finished my diy out riggers

Made with a 15 gallon drum and a cooler have it attached with a quick release (ratchet strap) for transport. I built it with scrap wood in the shed. did some stress test and took her to a small local lake. Can’t wait to put In a good day fishing on her this weekend. Gonna add some rod holders to it and possibly a taller seat now that it is so stable. Huge upgrade. I’m very excited 😆.

Nice lil chonk my scale was dead so I couldn’t get a weight but she’s def 1.5-2.5 range im making a low guess. she felt heavier than the 2.1 I had on scale before it died.

First bass off the jig!!!!

🙏🙏Thank you for everyone that commented on my post about how to use these I was not expecting so much great advice. I definitely wasn’t expecting it to pay off so fast. I left my whole bag and extra rods just at the house just so I wasn’t tempted to give up and throw something else. Man was it worth it. This fish is for those who helped me. I wish you all tight lines🤙

Any tips for fishing these various jigs

I’ve watched a few YouTube videos explaining everything but I want to see if there is any advice anyone can give for my various jigs

I have 3 swim jigs in the left most column in the middle is my chatter bait and 2 casting jigs one is more standard shape the other has a flat bottom , I think the bottom right is a finesse jig? And the top right I think is a bigger casting jig but it has rattles on it the one in the middle right is just as big but has no rattles.

Is my skirt on the tied on jig short enough or should I trim it?

Thank you for your advice and time.
