I want to put this out there maybe some people are OK with it. I am not. I am a seller. I handcraft everything in the state of New Jersey and it gets shipped from New Jersey. Everything I make is by hand.

I purchased a gift last week for somebody on Etsy I’ve had a lot of happy purchases with Etsy without any complaints. this one just made me nuts so I ordered something that had to be made to order.

They were physically in Florida, eight days go by. I follow up about it and I say the shipping says it’s coming from Jamaica New York oh that’s right we have a warehouse that everything is shipped from. 😳 so technically you’re not making item which you claim you are!!!

Is there anywhere I can report this seller to Etsy?
I know there are many stores on there, but this person is a hoax. They are not as they say they are and a lot of people think they’re gonna be ordering from Melissa in Florida when actually it’s coming over from China.

I plan on going into my shop and announce that everything I make is by my hands and made in New Jersey and ships from New Jersey so people know .

I want to make people aware, there are shops that are not being upfront and to me, they are fake 👎🏻👎🏻

I’ll be applying for social Security next month.

I am debating on whether to do it online or to go in person.
I don’t really want to go in person because I feel like it’ll be crazy as if you were going to the Department of motor vehicles. LOL

I like to know with doing it online versus going in person and when is the average time do they approve it?

How simple is the process to do it online
If you do it online I’m assuming they want copies of all your personal documents.

Any tips you have would be greatly appreciated.
