Accommodation in Coimbra ... fitting my goals

Hi guys,

I am an Italian student who's going to Coimbra on Erasmus next semester and, if I enjoy the experience, for the full year.

I am searching for accommodation.

I premise that I am a very bike-like guy, I like moving by bike even only to go to the university or to do daily commitments. Nevertheless, I know it is very hard to move by bike in Coimbra since it is basically a super-steep hill, but I'll probably attend classes at Polo II (the Science and Technology Pole), which I've got to know is not impossible to reach by bike.

I would also like to stay in a place with good student vibes (since I'll be an Erasmus student).

Fitting all these parameters, the best solution seems to be the Baixa area, alongside the Mondego river. Do locals agree? Would you suggest me some other place?

Thank you for your help.

Issues with Learning Agreement

Hi guys,

I am an Italian student who's going to Coimbra (Portugal) next semester on Erasmus.
My question, fundamentally, is: how hard is it to modify the Learning Agreement once you are already in your destination? How strict can the professors at your home institution and/or partner institution be in assessing your modifications?
