Can't trust movie critics like Taran Adarsh anymore?

I recently came across a screenshot on another subreddit claiming that Taran Adarsh charges ₹50K for a review post. And it made me curious enough to go through his past reviews.

Some of his ratings genuinely left me scratching my head.

The Vaccine War – 4/5

Badass Ravi Kumar – 3.5/5

Peddi – 3.5/5, calling it "powerful."

Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai – 3.5/5

Meanwhile, there are plenty of films that many audiences enjoyed but he rated much lower. That kind of inconsistency makes it difficult for me to rely on his reviews anymore.

I also noticed he barely posted about Main Wapis Aayunga, which I personally felt deserved more attention. It made me wonder how critics decide which films to cover extensively and which ones to barely mention.

I'm not saying the ₹50K screenshot is real—I haven't verified it. But when I keep seeing ratings that feel completely disconnected from my own experience and what many moviegoers seem to think, I naturally start questioning how much weight I should give these reviews.

Am I the only one who feels it's becoming harder to trust film critics these days, or do you still rely on them before watching a movie?

Is it normal for a new furnace filter to look gray after only two weeks?

I just moved into a new place and decided to swap out the air filters since I did not know when the previous owners last did it. I put in a standard pleated filter and checked it today out of curiosity but the side facing the return air is already noticeably gray and dusty looking.

I was reading some articles on Airlucent about indoor air quality and how quickly filters can clog if there is a lot of construction dust or pet dander in the vents. We do have a dog but two weeks feels extremely fast for a filter to change color like that.

Does this mean my ductwork is probably filthy and needs a professional cleaning or could it just be that the previous people never changed theirs and the system is finally catching up? I am worried that if I leave it much longer it might start putting a strain on the blower motor.
