Almost Gone, But Not Forgotten
- A trio of GP30s leads a train past the disused station for the McKinney coal mine. In an effort to cut costs and streamline dispatching, the PRR consolidated rail access for several mines in the area, and regular services no longer stop here. Instead, coal is trucked to nearby Pineview. The station is still occasionally used for Maintenance-of-Way trains. The station will be completely abandoned by the Penn Central two years later.
