I'm planning to add Kennedy space centre to my list and needed some opinion.

I think it'll be cool to see an actual launch centre, but is it actually worth it? I'm not planning on seeing too many places during the trip because I don't want it to feel rushed and I want a mix of both fast-paced, fun attractions and slow attractions where I can take my time and walk around.

Here's what I wanna know.

How long will I have to plan if I decide to add the space centre in my itinerary? Is it more fun to walk around alone or will kids also be able to have fun there? I also need tips for getting a good price. I want to save as much as possible while still having fun, so is there any tips for getting any discounts?

Any other suggestions are welcome. I want to make sure everything goes well.

I've been reading about the Museum and it looks really cool (but more like a one-time experience). I want to check it out but don't want to regret wasting money, so I'm curious what recent visitors actually thought about the place.
