Ineffective weapons

which huntsmen has a really cool concept of a weapon, but when it comes to fighting grimm, does not see very useful at all? I'll start:

Sun: His Gun-chuck/ staff combo is damn near unstoppable for fighting humanoid foes, but doesn't look like he has enough stopping power to jack up a grimm of a larger size. His guns are shot-gun so probably don't have crazy good range, and his staff serves as an effective battering weapon, but it doesn't seem too strong like say, Nora's hammer, or Coco's purse, which are bludgeoning weapons I think.

Again, his weapon is dope, it's just not suited for combat with grimm. What is another example you can think off.

A really dope fact I just found out.

So last night I was reliving some of my past through Code lyoko amvs, when I had the sicking realization that some of them were twenty years old. After I had my "Ow! my hip!" moment, another thought accorded to me. Twenty years ago was 2006, Youtube wasn't officially released until late 2005. That means some of the first Youtube videos were Code lyoko amvs. That's dope as fuck, and I just wanted to share that.

Time period

Random question I had, but what time period do you think the new lyoko season would be set? I ask because while I would take a modern setting, I would hope they go back to the original time frame, you know the super early 2000's.

A part of me doubts this however since every version of Code lyoko always takes place in the years in which it was made. For example: The original show was made in the early 2000's and that's when it take place. Evolution was made later so they used a sliding time scale to match the periods.

I guess my question is, do you think they'll have modern smart phones, or still rocking the style of the past?

What's your favorite female design for reasons outside of fan-service? [anime]

While i love anime ladies that fight in revealing or impractical cloths (shout out Jenny) I've always thought Kaguya looked so cool. She looks dressed for combat, but also very proper. What's your pick?

Wishlist

While I do not want to jinx anything, the fact that most of the original staff might return to work on the show is incredibly awesome. Here are a few things I'd want out of a season 5;

1: The og theme song (A new cover or remix is fine but I will accept no substitute to a world without danger)

2: They add new sectors (Say what you will about evolution, but the cortex was a really cool place that fit into the world and I would like to see more of those)

3: They remember the development's made in the final season (That means Yumi and Ulrich will mostly be past their b.s and they've made peace with Sissi)

4: They touch on Aelita's mother and the works (evolution touched on this topic, but I would like a full explanation and resolution of that plot-line.)

What are some things you'd want to see in a new season.

Which RWBY character do you feel needs to have Monty-style 1 on 1 fight to really hammer home their combat prowess and to demonstrate what they can really do?

I know every one shown above has had fights before, but I'm talking more like the original trailers, or something like Pyrrha vs CRDL, or Qrow vs Tryian. You know, bombastic over the top fights that show all the unique ways they wield their weapons and powers. Usually against a small group if not a single enemy.

  1. We've never really gotten a good fight showing how Emerald can fight on her own, at least not like how Mercury got go a round with Yang in the Vital festival. The most we get are some lackluster post volume 3 fights.

2.This caught me by surprise, We never really got a great fight with Nora on her own. She always fights with someone else. Say what you will about Ren, he at least got fight the twin headed snake with sick martial arts skills. Nora really could have used a trailer.

  1. I know it's a matter of time, but I would like to see ho Oscar fights, and not just in the style of Ozpin.

  2. Glynda got a few cool moments but she deserves some cool Ironwood level fights where she can go all out like a true witch.

  3. The same applies to all the teachers honestly.

Who would be your pick for a character that needs a really in-depth well choreographed fight?

Shared and learned moves

Here's a fun question: Do you think the RWBY combat system should have moves that multiple people could learn and use? Here's what I mean. In a show like Dragon ball, multiple people can learn moves like the kamehameha and masenko. Universe like Harry Potter have set spells that all wizards can learn. Do you think Rwby could have something like that? Like charaters using dust to launch generic or shared elemental attacks like Firaga or blizzaga from ff and KH.

I don't know, I think that'd be cool. Let me know what you think.
