I'm an expat and have been living in Qatar on and off for 19 years now (more than half my life). So far, I have learned how to read and write Arabic, but very slowly. Now I want to learn conversational Arabic for real, preferably the Qatari dialect.

Hi. This is the backstory — I am a victim of future-faking and love bombing that became a 3-year relationship that I thought was real because of my own stupidity and naivety. I have been a supportive partner who helped my boyfriend (now ex) throughout his unemployment, to the point that he now owes me quite a big amount. I also helped him set up a company, and now we have 2 startup companies together with an investor.

He already met my parents earlier this year and kept telling me we were going to get married this year, but recently I found out that he was planning to marry someone else despite telling me that I am his fiancée.

After wasting 3 years of my life in this scam and experiencing this terrible betrayal, I have been in deep depression and desperation for almost a month now.

Now, at this point, I don't want a soulmate. I just want to get married for the sake of getting married and maybe out of spite. At this point, I'm open to a lavender marriage.

I am from the Philippines and have been in Qatar since 2007 with my parents and younger siblings. We are also Muslim reverts, although I am non-practicing.

I am searching for a Muslim guy who is in Qatar and wants to marry only 1 wife because I don't want drama.

I am quite career-oriented and would prefer to keep working even after marriage since I have 2 startup companies now, but I still want a capable man who can provide for my basic needs and won't be after my money at all.

My whole family (dad, mom, younger sister, younger brother) moved to Qatar from the Philippines around 19 years ago, and reverted to Islam around 13 years ago. But I have to admit - I am currently nonpracticing. Still, I would like to have a Muslim husband who could encourage me to be a better person.

I am an engineer by profession but my career revolved around administrative roles. My MBTI type is INTJ. I am 5'1" and somewhat chubby. Never married. No kids.
