how strict are they really on the collared shirts? i’m a cashier but i also do returns,garden center, and i’m getting trained on service and gate guard. so like sometimes im all over the place and i have the nicer vest that is basically collared so like do i really have to wear a collared shirt underneath my collared vest?
so i got diagnosed with absence seizures when i was 8, i am 19 now. i am no longer on meds because i don’t need them anymore. i am just wondering if it is technically okay to vape like ONCE DAY A WEEK like on weekend when im out with friends. i know no matter what its not the safest thing to do but i just dont know how much i can play around with this.
do you actually make $19/hour on weekends or is it just averages out with the $16?
i am a cashier and i genuinely can’t tell if they care about being on your phone when you aren’t with customers. so many of my co workers just sit on their phones when they have nothing to do but i was told that they will write you up for that.
so i just started as a cashier about a month ago and i think i made a mistake by telling them im available all the time because im on summer break. i am pretty wide open but the days i work and the hours i work are all over the place and i feel like i have no time to enjoy my life. would i be able to set up like set days that i work or would they say no?

I’m actually convinced my direct manager actually hates me already. I am a cashier and I’ve only worked there for about 3 weeks now. I have made some mistakes since starting but that’s how it goes every time when starting a new job. I really like the 2 assistant managers and I’m pretty confident they like me. My actual manager just doesn’t talk to me and has such a bad rbf and doesn’t smile.
