4 weeks out NPC Natural first show

6’3 179.5lbs 20 years old

Obviously posing needs work, currently working with a coach to nail that aspect of it

As far as conditioning goes, I feel behind, however I’m truly digging to be able to present a first package I can be proud of. Current protocol down below

Macros:
Training day -> 220c, 210p, 40f
Rest Day -> 100c, 210p, 40f

Training
5x a week PPL-UL split

Cardio
30 mins LISS 7x a week
12-15k steps/day

Leaving the dedicated LISS cardio on the lower end so I have more room to increase as I get closer to the show.

Final stretch of my first ever prep, and I’ve learned so much from this process. I plan to take three years off following this show to grow as I am 6’3 and have quite a long frame to fill out.

I’m open to constructive feedback and suggestions.

7 weeks out from first show

20 years old, 6’3 185.7lbs. 7 weeks out from NPC natural show. Need a good 3 years offseason to truly grow but I wanted to push myself and do a show while still in college.

Things are moving along very well, seen crazy progress. My only concern is the posterior chain is holding a lot of my fat.

Calories at:
2300/2000 training/rest day
40 mins stairs 6x week
10k steps a day

I feel behind, but as long as I can put forth a first package I can be proud of, I’ll consider this a success.

New to personal training

20M, Just obtained my NASM certification, and looking to branch into a hybrid of in person and online coaching. As an amateur bodybuilder, I have confidence in my ability to handle both bodybuilding clients and lifestyle clients.

I don’t want to work in a gym as a w2 trainer. No disrespect to those that do it, but I’m looking to grow as an independent contractor doing both in person and online coaching while in college to hopefully have something that isn’t location dependent as I plan to move after I graduate nearly 2 hours away. I’m a rising sophomore bachelors of exercise science right now.

That being said, I know being an independent contractor is slow at first, and at looking for kind and constructive advice from experienced professionals who may or may not have been in my situation before. Near my college is a gym that offers 24/7 access to gym and space for Independent trainers for 650-700$ a month. Is this a good deal? I’m hesitant to obviously make the deal yet as I have zero paying clients right now, and am looking for recommendations on how to obtain clients and what you guys would do in my situation
