Been doing daily art prompts for a bit to try and boost motivation, the word for this one was "Peeler". I find it interesting how seeing a random word or phrase can spark creativity.

Practising some isometric pixel art with a simple chessboard, the knight pieces were the most difficult thing about this but I think it turned out alright.

I got asked to make a new set of skins for Duelyst 2 and I think they look pretty snazzy.

Zurael is the last of the bunch to show for the Chromatic skins.

This one will be given to those who get top 4 in Duelyst 2's Chromatic Cup tournaments!

I liked the way it turned out, I could add more variations of the grey pathway so its not repeating as much but this was something I did for fun/practise.

The dragon is an open-source asset (Duelyst - CC0)

Neutral

• Change Songweaver to Loreweaver
• Add Songweaver, 3 mana 2/5: "Opening Gambit: Put a Sol into your action bar."
  • Add Sol, 1 mana 2/1 token: "This can be played on top of a unit to dispel that unit."
• Add Lodestar, 8 mana 8/8: "When there are 8 units nearby this, destroy them."

Songhai

• Add Scrollkeeper, 1 mana 2/1 Arcanyst: "When this takes damage, draw a spell."
• Add Ancestral Medium, 2 mana 2/3: "Opening Gambit: Choose 3 different cards from your graveyard and shuffle them into your deck."
  • The graveyard consists of dead minions, played spells, and broken artifacts. When a card is shuffled back into the deck, that copy of it is removed from the graveyard.
• Add Coalfist, 4 mana 4/5: "At the end of each turn, if you played 3 or more cards, give this and nearby allied minions +1/+1."
• Add Conflagration, 2 mana spell: "This turn, whenever a non-token ally moves or teleports, summon an Ember on the space they were on."
  • Add Ember, 1 mana 1/1 Rush token
• Add Voltaic Discharge, 0 mana spell: "Deal 1 damage to a minion for each other card you played this turn."
• Add Ornate Hiogi, 0 mana artifact: "At the end of each turn, if you played a minion and a spell, draw an extra card."

Vetruvian

• Add Mirror Image, 3 mana spell: "Summon an exact copy of your General that disappears at the start of your turn nearby your General, then teleport your General to any nearby space."
  • Mouse cursor activity and General location are hidden from the opponent while Mirror Image is being cast. The General and the copy appear simultaneously.

Abyssian

• Change Soulshatter Pact to Void Steal

Vanar

• Add Concealing Shroud, 3 mana spell: "Transform your General into a Night Howler until your next turn. If it would be destroyed, transform it back."
  • Add Night Howler, 3/4 token General
  • The transforms can be nested. Artifacts are not preserved when transforming, but are restored after untransforming.

Misc

• Fix cards in collection not being clickable
