The world responds by launching sensitivity training and handing out Cosmic Ally badges while corporations seek to use the situation to their advantage. Predictably, none of it results in anything useful. The main character is a customer service rep named Joe who just wants to keep his head down, take care of his family, and not get eaten or fired. It goes about as well as you'd expect.

It's more Catch-22 and Office Space than hard sci-fi or horror, although it does have elements of both. It's on Kindle Unlimited, or is only $.99 this week.
