So yes, I am Green and I signed up on the planner for a zone. I go online and happily pick up in that zone and of course the drop-off is in another zone. Well as soon as I drop off the order, Uber kicks me off-line and says it’s not busy enough here and now I have to drive all the way back to my original zone. What kind of BS is that?
This is now officially the worst offer I have ever received in over 17000 trips. Round trip for gas $17. Net loss $15. That is figuring 72 mile round trip, 18 mpg, at $4.29 a gallon!
Seriously, $40 for 166 round trip delivering a mystery item? Should I take the trip or what’s in the box? Oh the best part of this is as soon as I rejected the trip, uber said it wasn’t “busy” enough and cut me off. Closest “busy” area was 20 miles away. Closed the app and went home. It was still the dinner rush and I was near at least 20 restaurants that use Uber Eats. I hate the planner! It has hurt more than helped.
