Might be a dumb question but....

Hi, so I've posted here a couple of times before and I have a question that might seem a bit ridiculous but I wanted some input from people's actual experiences rather than random googling online.

Quick gist about me for context: im 25f, a virgin, started slynd on the advice of the obgyn to control my periods that were 2-3 weeks long. There were some initial bumps in the road (like I got my period early last time about two to three days before I started placebos, but that didn't happen this time thank God) but overall, I'm really happy with this bc so far.

I'm on my second pack (I had received 3 packs) and I'm almost done with it. In like two days, I run out of the white pills and start taking the green placebo pills to start my period.

The thing is.... I kind of don't want to. This is kind of petty reasoning but it's hot as HELL outside, and I have work during the week and I don't want to walk around with a pad on, sweaty, uncomfortable and feeling funky. (I don't wear tampons or cups, before anyone mentions those).

I know it'll just be 4 days or so then I can start a new pack but tbh, i don't even want to deal with those 4 days.

Is it okay if I just skip the placebos and go straight to the new pack? It's not dangerous to suppress the period for longer? Or can I do one month yes, one month no?

I got my period?? Wtf

Hey guys. I made a post here a while ago talking about how it's my first time using bc. I'm on slynd, and I'm on day 21. I've been taking it at the same time every morning everyday. I have not missed a pill!!

Yet yesterday I started bleeding. Not spotting, but full on period bleeding! 😭I thought bc was supposed to stop periods. I'm tired of this shit. The whole point i got on the pill was to stop my several weeks long periods.

Is this normal?

I want to buy stuff on eBay

Hey guys. So, I've never used PayPal before and need some info because I keep getting mixed messages online.

I want to buy something on eBay, but I don't want to use my debit card directly on there (i don't have a credit card!!). I've heard about PayPal over the years but I've been hesitant. I don't want to use it to send or receive money, I just want to use it to buy stuff online.

Do I need to give them my bank info? I saw that there was a way to put money in the account in person, but how do I do that?

Is there a penalty for not having money in your PayPal?? Is there a monthly fee to maintain the account? I ask this because obviously I'm not going to be using this all the time, you know?

One of my packages, which shipped first, has been stuck.... Should I be worried?

Hi guys. So I ordered 5 items on the 19. Two of them shipped the next day, while the other three shipped about a day or two later. First package's last update was on the 22nd, Friday. It says it "departed origin facility" at 4am, but there is no other movement. Meanwhile, my second package is already at my local distribution center.

Should I be worried that there hasn't been ANY movement with that first package since the 22nd? Or should I give it a little more time before raising the alarm?

It's been a week

Hi guys!

So it's been a week since I started slynd and so far, it's been okay except for two things (three?) things and i wanted to post here to compare notes, so to speak. Wondering if anyone else has experienced these things while on slynd?

I dunno if any of y'all remember my first post, so here's just a quick gist of my situation:

I'm 25, never had sex before but I was prescribed slynd to try to stop/regulate my periods which were overstaying their welcome by 2-3 weeks and I was told that... After the doctors looked at the scans they took of my uterus, that I "possibly" have PCOS and that i do show many other symptoms of that.

Alright, great. I was reluctant to take it, but I decided to give it a shot. For the most part, I've been okay. Except for a persistent cough for the past 3 days. My tongue also feels like someone took a knife and sliced it up??

I've also had some spotting/bleeding and mild cramps but it's the coughing and the weird tongue feeling that's getting on my nerves! Anyone else experienced that??

Never taken birth control before.. Kinda nervous

I hope i used the right flair. Never posted here before but I need some.... Support i suppose.

For context, im 25. I've never had sex before. However, I've been having periods that last weeks when they usually are supposed to last 5 days (that was ALWAYS the amount of time my periods were. Five days. Although WHEN the period would come was always irregular. Ever since I've gotten my first period at age 9).

So I go to the obgyn. They had me do a sonogram (I think that's the right term, I get ultrasound and sonogram confused, sorry. It's the one where they put the gel on your stomach and use the wand thing to take scans of your uterus, that). Anyway, i was told that I have PCOS and suggested birth control. I have said no before, because birth control pills scare me. I don't want to balloon in size and have 50000 health issues come from it.

But I finally said okay, I'll try it. I was prescribed one without estrogen. It's called slynd.

I'm looking at the paper that came with the medicine and it's freaking me out. Has anyone taken this and can kind of... Lessen the freak out factor?
