10 months without being able to attend Friday prayer 💔🤲

Amine 🤍

People think I ignore them, but I’m actually just very shy

My family often complains that I don’t call enough or that I reply very late. But it’s not because I think I’m better than them or because I don’t care. I’m just a very shy person, and I also have a huge procrastination problem, especially with messages and phone calls. Honestly, this procrastination exhausts me mentally.
Sometimes I genuinely want to talk to people, but I get stuck in my own thoughts wondering, “What am I even supposed to say?” So I delay replying again and again. And the more I delay, the harder it becomes to answer.
I’m also someone who takes time to get comfortable with people. But once that barrier is broken and the conversation becomes natural, I can talk with you all the time without any problem.
The hardest part is that many people don’t understand shyness. They immediately think you’re ignoring others on purpose, when in reality you’re just struggling with your own thoughts.

Why is it so hard to contact landlords directly in Morocco?

Hello everyone,
I’m trying to understand the Moroccan real estate market.
Why does it feel so hard to contact landlords directly in Morocco?
Do most owners prefer agencies and intermediaries, or are there actually many who want to rent out directly?
Also, is trust in online platforms still low among property owners?
If someone is building a “direct owner to tenant” marketplace in Morocco, what would be the best way to actually reach landlords?
Any insights from people in the field would really help.
Thanks 🙏

Street Harassment in Morocco: Something That Shocked Me as a Foreigner

I’m a foreigner currently living in Morocco, and one thing that has really stood out to me since I arrived is the level of street harassment toward women. I often see motorcycles or cars stopping to approach women, persistent comments, and sometimes even arguments or uncomfortable situations happening openly in public.

I want to make it clear that I’m not generalizing, and I’ve met many respectful and welcoming Moroccans. However, coming from a country where this behavior is far less visible, it genuinely shocked me and made me reflect on how women are treated in public spaces and the level of respect they receive in daily life.

I’m sharing this without attacking the country or its people. I’m simply curious to know how women experience it in their everyday lives.

Am I the only young person suffering because marriage has become so difficult?

Honestly, I’m tired.
I just want to get married and live a clean and honest life, but today everything feels blocked: money, housing, expectations, social pressure…

People constantly tell us to avoid fornication, be patient, and pray. But nobody truly talks about how difficult life has become for young people today.

I’m not looking for a reckless lifestyle. I simply want a serious relationship and a simple marriage. Yet even that has become extremely difficult.

Does anyone else feel the same way?

Hi,
I’ve been thinking about this lately. It feels like approaching a woman has become more complicated.
In public, it can sometimes be perceived negatively. On social media or dating apps, interactions often feel less authentic or not entirely real.
Personally, I believe meeting in real life is more genuine, but it also seems to be the hardest way now.
So I’m just wondering: how do women actually prefer to be approached today?

Thanks for your thoughts.

I’ve been thinking about something lately.

It feels like most of us are living according to a predefined script set by society.

Go to school, study hard, get into a good university, find a job, work for a company, get married… and repeat.

We rarely stop to question it.

Now with social media, it feels even worse. Platforms like Instagram and TikTok push us to build a “perfect life” chasing likes, validation, and approval. People start creating a version of themselves that isn’t even real.

It feels like we’re not really living anymore we’re performing.

Are we actually choosing our lives, or just following a script we never questioned?

Curious to hear your thoughts.

Hi everyone,

I’ve been working with Google Antigravity for the past few weeks.

However, I keep running into constant errors. I can barely send 2–3 prompts without getting repeated error messages or failures. I’ve already tried updating everything and checking my setup, but nothing seems to fix it.

I’m starting to wonder if the tool is currently stable or properly working on Google’s side.

Is anyone else experiencing the same issue, or is it just me?

Thanks!

Hello,

I’m a founder from Morocco building a HealthTech startup called Connect Santé.

After a personal accident, I experienced first-hand how difficult and slow the healthcare system can be, especially overcrowded hospitals and long waiting times.

We are building a platform that:

Helps patients do a first AI-based symptom pre-assessment

Connects patients to doctors remotely

Reduces hospital congestion

Supports doctors with pre-structured patient data (AI assists, not replaces doctors)

Generates digital prescriptions and follow-up tracking

Our goal is to make healthcare more accessible and efficient, not to replace doctors but to support them.

We are currently looking for:

Potential investors interested in early-stage HealthTech in emerging markets

I’d be happy to share more details and discuss further.

Thank you.

Hi everyone,

I’m a young entrepreneur from Morocco.

I’m currently building a student housing marketplace because I noticed a big problem in the student real estate market: scams, unreliable intermediaries, and lack of trust.

The idea is to create a safe and simple platform for students to find housing.

Right now, I already have users on the platform, but I’m stuck on one major issue: supply (property listings and agencies).

On top of that, I’m doing almost everything myself, and it’s becoming overwhelming. I often feel exhausted and think about giving up, but at the same time I still believe in what I’m building.

My main challenges are:

Getting property owners and agencies to list their properties

Managing everything alone without burning out

I’m not looking for motivation. I’m looking for practical advice from people who have built something similar.

What actually works at the early stage to solve the supply side of a marketplace like this?

Any honest advice would really help.

Thank you.
