Season 7

The amount of issues with this season is crazy! It feels like they have just totally strayed like did they change writers or directors or something? I’m on Episode 10 just now and even little things like iris is now going to crime scenes? I know she’s the daughter of the police chief and all but… and even some of the acting, when they’re trying to force fuerza out and it keeps cutting to Caitlin like 20 times who is just stood open mouthed or when psych attacked that rich lady and iris + gang are just stood in the back awkwardly. Does it get better?

S7 e6 “the one with the nineties”

Why why why did they not even attempt to integrate one of the 1998 flash suits into this episode. The whole time I was waiting for it but the episode just ends… top 3 worst CW blunders.

Speed thinking

So I was watching the speed thinking episode last night about the ASF giving Barry no emotion and increased cognitive function or whatever they called it. I’m past the part where iris powers the ASF or the non artificial SF? From what Chester says, and I’m at a point now where I’m genuinely wondering 1. Does the speed thinking just disappear now for some stupid reason or 2. Is Barry still going to have it but villains still somehow outsmart him for no other reason than “the plot”. I love the show but if they pull something like “the speed thinking was only possible because he lost his emotion” I will struggle to continue because it feels like Barry’s powers were evolving/improving which hasn’t happened a lot in the past season or 2.

What is the process for Signing off work for mental health?

Not sure what subreddit to post this in so this seems the best but please point in any direction if needs be.

I was recently diagnosed with severe depression and anxiety and I’m on medication for it, I was doing okay until recently going through a breakup with the only person who knew about it all/helped me through it. Now I’m struggling a lot with motivation to work (7 days off in the past 3 months) and annoying people at work for being demotivated and “lazy”.

Obviously I haven’t told my work about the diagnosis or medication (not sure if that might cause an issue as I believe I should have notified them of any medications), nor have I told family or friends. I’m wondering how I would go about trying to sign myself off work for a few weeks so that I can attempt to speak with my GP or potentially go into psychiatric care.

I understand the general advice will be to talk to family or friends, and I appreciate that might be the best course of action but I don’t think that’s possible at the moment. Any help is appreciated.
