[Massachusetts] pending?
My unemployment claim was made 4/26/2026. I went on unemployment because I am a full time student now Mon-Fri 8am-2:30pm. On the website it writes “The claim has been deemed monetarily eligible.” It also reads that my employment history and work availability is in progress (at first it said pending but it changed to in progress last week). They marked my waiting week as 5/2/2026 and I have put in claims for the week of 5/9/26 and 5/16/2026. I have emailed my state rep and they let me know they notified the unemployment office and they would reach out to me soon. A few hours after that email they called and asked me what my school schedule is and if i am able to work during school. I am unsure if this will take any longer but I was wondering if anyone else has had the same experience. I am also unsure how long I should expect my first check.
