An afternoon 11k-step walk through Thayatal National Park

Some walks are worth it for the destination.
Others are worth it because of everything along the way.
Today’s walk through Thayatal National Park had a bit of both. 🌿
Around 11.5k steps, fresh air, quiet trails and some incredible views.

June is over. How did your month go?

June ended with 316,181 steps for me.

I’m happy with the number, but what I’ll remember most are the quiet evening walks and the places I got to see.
Did you hit your goal last month, or was it more about simply getting outside?
I’d love to hear how June went for everyone.

Walking has become more than just exercise for me.

This week ended with 76,373 steps, but the best part wasn’t the number.
It was slowing down for a while, enjoying places like this and giving my mind a chance to reset.
How was your week?

One of the best parts of walking isn’t the steps. It’s moments like this.

Not every walk needs a goal. Sometimes the best walks are the ones that help you reset your mind.

Finally hit my first 15k day. 🎉

My legs are complaining, but this community definitely deserves some credit. Seeing everyone’s progress has been really motivating.

What do you actually look at most on your watch while walking?

For me it’s daily steps and goal progress.
I realized most apps show a lot of information I never use, so I started experimenting with a simpler setup.
Curious what everyone else checks most often during walks.

65,837 steps this week 👣 How did everyone do?

Just wrapped up my week with 65,837 steps.
Average: 9,405/day
Goal days: 7/7 ✅
I’ve noticed that setting a realistic daily goal works much better for me than chasing huge step counts.
Do you focus more on consistency or on hitting a specific weekly number?

Night walk 🌙

One of my favorite parts of the day.
Less traffic, fewer people, cooler air, and a chance to unwind.
Finished today’s walk with 11,169 steps and 139% of my goal.
Do you prefer walking in the morning, during the day, or at night?

Beach walk

On the last day of my vacation, I tried to walk as much as possible on the beach and managed to reach my daily target of 8k steps.

Beach walking

almost done, I prefer walking on the beach than around the city, what about you? Where do you prefer to walk and how do you track your steps?

The best beaches are usually hidden behind the hardest paths. Worth every step. 🏝️

Beach walk after breakfast

Only 484 steps so far, but I have a feeling this beach is going to add a few thousand more today. 😄

Do you usually walk more when you’re on vacation?

Beach walk and today’s goal done

Beach walk done for today. 🌊☀️
Hit my daily step goal earlier than expected, so now it’s time to relax and enjoy the view.

How many steps have you done today?

What actually motivates you to keep walking every day?

I’ve noticed that after the first few weeks, motivation becomes more difficult than the walking itself.
Some people focus on step goals, some on streaks, others just enjoy being outside.
For those of you who walk regularly:
What keeps you consistent?
Do you use any apps or trackers?
What feature has actually helped you build the habit?
I’m curious what works for different people.
