Crowds?

Experts Only at the Gorge just got announced & Ive been wanting to see John Summit for soooo long. However, I am nervous about how ass the crowds will be. I went to Rufus at the Gorge this year & the crowd damn near ruined everything for me. Super wasted frat bros knocking into us the whole night, being rude & trashing everything, & overall vibes were not it.

I'm super big on PLUR, Griztronics was probably my favorite festival I've ever been to because even though it was a shit show everybody was so lovely & nice & gave room to dance & danced with each other. It was incredible.

For those of you who have been to shows recently, are people really that bad? My boyfriend is telling me it will be the worst shove fest of all time. 🥲 I'm just trying to vibe & dance & be friendly.

Flying In - What to do About Power?

Hey everyone,

I'm thinking about going to Valley of the Seven Stars this year! I live in Washington & have only done in state camping festivals.

My question is, due to restrictions around flying with large power banks - what do you guys do who travel in from out of state for power? I normally have a Jackery, but obviously can't fly with that. We're just going to do basic tent camping. I would prefer not to do the whole buy something & return it after using, I know some places near festivals are cracking down on that & it's just a pain.

I bring a power bank that's 20,000mah & that's almost at the limit. I also bring a couple other battery powered devices. The power bank probably won't last the full 4 days out in the forest for everything I may need to charge.

Grounds for Chargeback?

At the Gorge entrance, been in line since 6pm with no idea when we're going to get there. It's currently 3:30am. We'll be lucky if we can set up camp by 6am & then being incredibly optimistic that we can get 8 hours of sleep puts us at waking up at 2pm, with doors at 4pm.

This is absolutely fucking insane. There are cars behind us running off of no sleep who will be in there even later. Can't use one night of camping pass & will have to sacrifice part of the show today, because I'm assuming actual lines to get in the venue will also take multiple hours.

If Live Nation won't issue refunds, which I doubt they will I am seriously wondering if this is grounds for a chargeback on camping at the very least, if not also for the whole festival. I deeply regret purchasing tickets.
