Speedometer Relocation

Hi everyone, I'd Like to share this little project with you.

I bought the Gilles bracket to move the speedometer from the handlebars. A few days before I had mounted the Yamaha windshield. Unfortunately I realized that the two components are not compatible but I didn't give up.

The Gilles support should be mounted on top of the relay resting on the lighthouse, I mounted it underneath by adding a thickness, in this way I recovered some space. I mounted the display but it touched against the screw... so I created a flare for the screw and reassembled it.

The dome didn't mount yet but I was almost there; so I added a spacer on each screw between the dome and the bracket and finally everything went to its place.

The display is now much more visible without looking away from the road, I have freed up space from the handlebars where I can put the smartphone when I need the navigator and I find that aesthetically everything is more amazing.

The Rebirth of Atala Corsa GS

Hello my friends, I would like to show you my latest work. An Atala Corsa GS from 1987 in racing team colors.

The frame was stripped and repainted in its original color (I was lucky to find new decals for this frame on eBay)I decided to install a complete Campagnolo Victory groupset from the same period; it was not easy to find all the spare parts.

I assembled new wheels with Campagnolo Victory hubs, stainless steel spokes, and NOS Ambrogio Montreal rims. For tubular tires, I chose 28" Challenge Elite.

The seatpost was polished and painted with black inserts. The saddle is a San Marco Royal with titanium rail, while the stem and handlebars are Cinelli.

I hope you enjoy the photos.

Some time ago I installed racing wheel studs and nuts on my Peugeot 106 Rallye.

After a short time, the nuts rusted, so I decided to paint them black. It was a simple job that took me a couple of weekends. I hope you enjoy the photos.
