What buffer/spring is everyone running w/ their 6" Faxon?

I have an ancient YHM .30 Phantom suppressor just sitting in my safe. I decided I needed something to do w/ it, so I ordered a Faxon 6" 1:5 Gunner barrel and a Midwest 12.625" rail to tuck it under. While I wait on everything to get delivered (hopefully tomorrow), I was trying to research the best way to tune it. Understanding that ammo plays a part in how it will run, and I will be running it almost exclusively w/ subs, I was hoping I could pulse the community of people that currently have this sort of set up to see what buffer weight and spring you all are running? I won't be running an AGB, so the buffer & spring will be the main way I can make sure this thing will run reliably and lock back. I also plan on using a forward assist vent from Weapon Outfitters as well as a Raptor SD for the CH as the Phantom is an old school gassy little bitch. Any advice or suggestions would be welcome. TIA.

What can on what set up?

Currently have five set ups on which I'm trying to decide which can to use on each.

Top to Bottom:

Geissele 14.5" GFR 6ARC w/ CAT NOAH

Geissele 14.5" SD 5.56 w/ OCL Infinity 556K

Noveske 12.5" 6ARC home build

Geissele 12.5" SD 5.56

Sig 11.5" MCX 5.56 w/ Flow 556K

I have a Ridgeback Rhodie 6K on order (on week 4 now). I'm kicking around selling one of these set ups, if not two. Most likely would be the MCX followed by the Noveske 12.5". I know in the scheme of things, what's mounted on what probably doesn't matter so long as it's rated for the round, but thought I'd get some input from the experts as to what can you'd mount on which blaster.

Test mags. Looking for feedback.

Duramag M81 ano on the left. The other six are test mags using Rapco colors (CARC Green and Brown, flat black, and Field Drab). Mags 2-4 used some cheap plastic stencils just laid on top and sprays in layers. Mags 5-7 were taped off using roughly torn Frog tape using the CARCs and black going for a pseudo-NATO three color.

Think I like mag 3 the most. Would love to hear any tips or feedback from the more experienced among you.

Basic bitch two color. Leave as is or add some sponging?

Just a basic two color (Rapco Dark Camo Green over field drab) on my simple build. I don’t hate it, but I am considering adding some lighter tan and black sponging over it. What says the sub?

Color suggestion for NATO three color woodland scheme?

Looking for suggestions as to what Rapco colors to use for a simple three color NATO woodland scheme. I’m thinking just CARC green, CARC brown, and black. Any others I should consider?

14.5 GFR chrono and accuracy data from recent range trip.

I took my new 14.5" Geissele GFR to the range today and got some chrono data that some of you may be interested in. Groups were shot unsuppressed (just placed an order for a Rhodie 6K) at 100 yards off bipod and bag at Strategic Edge in Chapel Hill, TN.

Elevation: 690'. Temp: 75*F. Humidity: 85%. It was raining slightly. Scope is a Steiner 2-12x H6xi STR-MIL in a 1.7 Reptilia mount.

Groups were shot sitting from a bench.

First 5 round group shot w/ Hornady Black 105 BTHP on steel to confirm zero (I couldn't get down range to paste the target shown until the line went cold). I then shot a 10 round group (9 Hole review style) w/ one cold bore and then 9 more for group. Sub-moa group w/ 9 shots, right at 1 MOA if you count the cold bore.

I then shot a 10 round group w/ Hornady Match ELD-M 108s. Group was right at 1 MOA.

Average velocity over several groups for the Black 105s was 2445 fps.

Average velocity for the one group of 108 ELD-Ms was 2423 fps.

At this elevation, the 105s are still supersonic at 1100 yards.

Ballistic chart tracks w/ what I saw on steel at 100, 200 (.9 mil), 300 (1.5), 400 (2.6), and 500 (4.0).

Initial impressions of the GFR are that it's everything I had hoped it would be and more. Extremely pleasant shooting, perfectly gassed, amazing trigger, and I surprisingly (to my initial handling) like the stock quite a lot. It rides a bag very well.
