Looking for genuine opinions from people who've lived in both or know both well.

Comparing the two for a permanent family setup — buying a house, long term living, not just renting for a year or two.

Key things I'm considering:

• Business and market opportunities
• Networking — who actually lives there, what kind of people
• Property value and appreciation long term

Lahore seems better for business and has more energy. ISB seems cleaner, more planned, and better networked at a higher level. But both have real tradeoffs.

I run myself an agency and its working all good, i am just having bit of a problem with payments. I dont have a proper payment processing gateway to get payments from clients, i am from pakistan and live in dubai, i had been using payoneer over time and its shit, i want to know what options can i use considering taxes on payments etc

Salam everyone. Turning 20 in about a month and honestly feeling a bit lost on what to do with money I've made.

Quick context: I run an AI client acquisition agency — basically helping businesses generate leads and clients using AI tools. Been doing this for a while now and managed to save up 700K PKR, all self-earned, no family money involved.

The problem is it's just sitting in my account and that bothers me. I want it working for me, not the other way around. I'm not scared of risk — I'm 20, worst case I rebuild — but I also don't want to be dumb about it.

For context, the agency is still running and generating income so this 700K is savings I don't need for day-to-day.

What would people here actually do in this spot? Especially those who've been through this in Pakistan. Would love to hear from founders or anyone who's deployed capital early and learned something from it.
